So, I have been horrible at keeping up with the blog this summer due to Baby Yu2. We found out shortly before Keagan's first birthday that we are expecting another little bundle of joy. It came as a surprise as we had been trying to get pregnant again but wanted to take a break for a little while. Needless to say this baby wanted to be here and decided to come the one week of the year that Mom did not want to have a baby. I never wanted a christmas baby as so many people complain about it being such a busy time of year they feel like they miss out on their own birthday celebration. Jeff was overjoyed to announce that in fact we were not having a christmas baby....instead it is due New Year's Eve!
If I thought my pregnancy with Keagan was hard this baby has put me to the test. We actually realized I was pregnant because I was nauseous like I was pregnant and couldn't keep breakfast down. Keagan was considerate and didn't give me these symptoms until my 2nd trimester. This baby on the other had started making me puke at 2 weeks. So between not eating and the exhaustion of pregnancy I did not feel up to doing much this summer besides trying to make Keagan have a good time while trying to keep my head above the water - literally the toilet water. Of course Keagan is a good soul and tried to be helpful while mommy spent many hours with her head over the toilet. He even held my hair back a few times. We even got our daily laughs in so he has also been a big help in making me feel better during this pregnancy. I know that he will love the new baby and can't wait for it to join our family this December! I went through the same things with Keagan and look at the result!
