Yeah - we got hay. For the second year in a row we seem to be in drought here in Colorado. Last year we managed to find some hay down the road in Castle Rock and had some left over from the prior year. This year we were completely out, we added our pony Anne and our pastures did not grow hardly at all :( But on the 4th of July we managed to find some hay and got it delivered! YEAH
Of course Keagan wanted to explore the new item in the barn and was extremely helpful in getting the hay out to the horses.
Keagan would start out by picking out choice pieces of hay from the broken bales. Then he would walk over to the wheelbarrow and throw it in.
Some times he would get a little distracted and take Hannah down the aisle to see if there was anything else new. And look what he could find! A rock to give the horses as well. Keagan was very angry if I did not take him with to feed the horses every day as he felt mom might miss out on some important part of their diet :)
