Yeah for 5 months! To celebrate this special occasion, we all got haircuts - with Hannah included. Jeff and I each took turns getting our hair tamed. Next came Hannah with her REALLY fluffy toes collecting mud and debris. Those just had to go to help keep the house clean for Keagan. And finally Keagan got his first haircut. I figured since everyone else participated, why not Keagan too?!? He has had these long hairs that never fell out after he was born. I kept waiting for it to fall out on his own. But, it just wasn't happening. So I put him in the Bumbo and carefully trimmed those little hairs. It took about 10 minutes to trim 3 little spots as he wanted to move around in the Bumbo. Now, I took a risk cutting it myself. My horses can attest to the fact that I was not born a hairstylist. But I figured either I could do it, or I would have to take him somewhere to get it trimmed to fix the mess. Happily it turned out just fine. I am overjoyed that his little tiny mullet is gone. The hair around the ears was trimmed so the ears can stick out even more :) And those little bangs are not raggedy looking any more. I have no idea when he will need his next haircut...I am hoping it will take awhile
Go Badgers! We thought it would be appropriate to wear Wisconsin gear for his Oct picture. |
