Red Rocks!

I am not sure where the last week went, but we have been preparing to go to the Zach Brown Band at Red Rocks Ampitheater on Labor Day. Jeff managed to score some tickets back in July which was no small feat as the concert was sold out in 15 minutes. Although we had numerous offers for baby sitting, we wanted to take the little man with us. And we were glad that we took him along as he seemed to really enjoy the concert. Not that he could actually hear it. We bought noise cancelling head phones and he wore them without any problems. Actually when we needed to do a diaper change in the bathroom and I took
them off, he looked at me like why do I need to hear all those doors slamming? I was a little worried about him wearing them as he hates having his hat on his head, but he seemed to understand the ear muffs were a good thing and didn't bother them at all. He was so content he slept through most of the concert, but when he did wake up he really enjoyed looking at all the people and lights at the concert. He even seemed to be dancing at one point. He never cried or fussed at the concert and we did not have to go with our emergency melt down plan at all. When we got home a little tired I remarked to Jeff that Keagan was definitely a good baby to go along with all of our plans this summer. Jeff's reply was that he wasn't a good baby, he is a great baby. I have to agree :)
